Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim was brought to Hospital Kuala Lumpur on the afternoon of 7th July to receive intensive physiotherapy treatment for his shoulder pains, monitoring of his blood pressure levels and CT scans of his kidneys.

DSAI thanked the specialist doctors and other hospital staff for their assistance and treatment. On the 12th July 7:45am he was transferred back to the Sungai Buloh prison.
