| Sarawak State Election - Nomination Day in Lawas - 6 Apr 2011 Posted: 08 Apr 2011 09:27 AM PDT PKR Sarawak Chief Baru Bian – a NCR Land activist lawyer was nominated by PKR to stand in N70 Bakalalan State Seat under the Parliament of LAWAS. He was accompanied by Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim – PKR Defacto Leader, Central Supreme Council Member – Dr Roland Chia Ming Shen & Sdr Rahman Yusof with more than 1000 over strong supporters to the Lawas District Council to file his nomination papers on the 6 Apr 2011. Polling day is 16 April 2011. His Barisan Nasional Opponent will be from SPDP Youth Chief – Wilson Liau. DUN Bakalalan comprised 90% of orang ulu with the remaining are Malays and Chinese with total voters of 6350. Together with DUN Bukit Sari, they form Parliament Lawas.
